  • Vashon-Maury Island Land Trust 10014 SW Bank Rd, Vashon, WA 98070 Vashon, WA 98070 United States (map)

Kyle is a certified Soil Ecology Mentor. He helps folks who want to build soil using microbiology and applying organic amendments. He has a degree in Horticulture and an Advanced Permaculture Certification from Oregon State University. His talk will focus on

how microbes and plants grow together, how biology increases plant health and nutrient density

, and how to build a thermophilic / static compost pile to create good microbiology to apply to your plants. This is a great way to get to know a little bit more about what's going on in the soil we use to grow all of our food!
